What is a great tip for solving intermediate or expert Sudoku puzzles?

I like to look at each square and see what the possible numbers are for it. By looking at the row, column, and box, you can often narrow it down. I use a pencil and write the possible numbers in the box. After doing this for several boxes, you can often narrow down the possibilities.

Write down what numbers you need to fill in in every collumn, row, and square. It really works!
